Stone Temple Pilots tribute band DUMB LOVE was conceived in early 2018, the brain child of bassist and longtime fan Cameron Werme.  The band prides itself on its faithful sonic renditions of selections from the Pilots'  unparalleled catalog, that resonate with casual and die-hard fans alike.  Not to be missed, their live show has been described as “just as satisfying as listening to one of the original records.”

Cameron began playing bass in 1995 at the age of 14, around the same time he met Joe P, a high school classmate.  The two quickly became friends and started The Electric Banana, their first of three bands together.  Though distinct, his playing and writing style was unmistakably influenced by Rob DeLeo, and STP covers were a staple in the band’s live shows.

Cameron has played in several projects over the years and currently contributes multiple instruments and vocals to Plaid Nation Revival, a 90’s era acoustic trio from New York’s Hudson Valley. He is also a video game music aficionado and records VGM covers with drummer Cameron Chiles in Camicom.

Cameron plays Fender basses through Ampeg amplification.
